The Tibet with Mount Everest Base camp Tour is a very comprehensive tour of Tibet with visits to the cultural, historic and natural attractions of Tibet. The tour includes all the important places of interest in central & south Tibet including a visit to Rongphu Monastery and Mt. Everest Base Camp. After flying into Lhasa from Kathmandu, Chengdu or Beijing, explore the cultural and historical sites of Lhasa, Shigatse and Gyantse.Afterwards drive overland, in 4-WD jeeps, across the Tibetan highlands and high passes to the fabled Rongphu Monastery and Mt. Everest Basecamp from where the view of the great North face of Mt. Everest is the most spectacular of all.
 
 While driving down Friendship highway by a luxury Toyata land cruiser 4WD passing through small Tibetan settlements where you get upfront views right from your vehicle of nomadic herdsmen wandering across the wide arid plains amidst a backdrop of awe-inspiring mountain peaks. A special highlight of this trip is the visit to the Everest Base Camp where you will be rewarded with panoramic and breath taking views of Mt. Everest from the north side. Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu.

Arriving Kathmandu Tribhuwan Airport, Where Himalayan Excursion Nepal's representative meets you, transfer you to the hotel nearby Thamel as per your requirement.You can get Great food restaurant, shopping markets and Durbar square with its several temples and markets are nearby Thamel.

Day 2 : Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley, Visa & trip preparation.

You will meet your experience trekking guide, discuss the trekking program and coordinate any last-minute arrangements. After briefing with our professional tour guide you can visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa and Swaymbhunath. Rest of the time you can use for travelling around Thamel and buying necessaries equipment.

Day 3 : Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa (3,660m).

You will be met at Gonggar Airport by your Tibetan guide. After immigration formalities take a 1.5 hour drive along 93 km road leading to Lhasa lying at an altiude of 3660 meters. It's advisable to rest and take it easy for the remainder of the day due to Lhasa's altitude.

Day 4 : Guided city tours in Lhasa (3,660 meters).

Once you relinquish your delicious breakfast, you straightaway make arrangements for your sightseeing tour. Your experienced guide accompanies you to the famous monasteries of Tibet. On your awe-inspring visit to Sera Monastery, you are introduced to the important aspects of Buddhism. After lunch, you once again continue exploring Tibetan ancient cultures and civilization as you pay a visit to Norbulingka, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama. Jokhang temple provides yet another exciting and educative tour. Wandering around Barkhor Markets is another major highligt of the day. Finally, you head back to your hotel for relaxation and refreshments.

Day 5 : Guided city tour around Potala Palace and Drepung Monastery (3,660 meters).

morning after breakfast, you will set off to view majestic Potala Palace towering above city of Lhasa. You get to witness unique, Pristine and overwhelming array of intricate Tibetan murals, temples, stupas, and tombs of eight past Dalai Lamas from a perfect vantage point. Ancient Tibetan cultures come alive with your every exploration. Later in the noon after lunch, you will visit beautifully landscaped Drepung Monastery. You can observe nuns and monks chanting and performing religious discourses. After this religious journey. You eventually return to your hotel for delicious dinner and well-eared peaceful sleep.

Day 6 : Drive to Gyantse (3,950m) 261 km, 6-7 hours.

Today, Moving along the friend highway, you drive past Khamba La, at 4,794 meters, with a brief halt to savor majestic views of Yamdrok-tso lake and Nazin Kang Sa, Standing at 7252m. On turning westwards, you come across another pass, Karo La at 5,045 meters. If you look at the road, you can see huge glaciers tumbling down. After driving 261 km, beautifully landscaped Tibetan villages become visible as you enter the town of Gyantse.

Day 7 : Drive to Shigatse (3,900m) 90km, 4-5 hours.

Gyantse prides on Gyantse Dzong and Kumbum. Gyantse Dzong, a 14th century historical fort, overlooks the entire Gyantse and the surrounding Nyang Chu valley. Kumbum has a large gold-domed stupa and houses several chapels and Tibetan Buddhist murals. After exploring Gyantse, you take a 90 km drive and arrive at Shigtse (3900) the second largest Tibetan city. Tashilhunpo Monastery, being one of the largest functioning monasteries in Tibet is the major attraction of Shigatse.

Day 8 : Drive to Shegar (4050m) 244km, 6-7 hours.

Today, you will traverse along the friendship highway amidst pituresque landscape driving past small town of Lhatse and Gyamtso La pass at 5,220m. As the route opens into plains, many monasteries and camps of nomadic herders become visible en route to shegar.

Day 9 : Drive to Rongbuk (5000m) 68km-Explore Everest Base Camp, 3-4 hours.

 
Today, you will drive to the south crossing Pang La Pass at 5,150m. Along the drive you can bask in the splendor of majestic views of snow-capped  peaks from Makalu to Shishapangma. After driving for 68 km, you eventually reach Rongbuk at 5000m. You can then view spectacular sight of Mt. Everest. YOu have the opportunity to explore Everest Base Camp (5150m). The base camp itself is dry and barren, but the views of Everest more than compensates for it. It is truly an awe-inspring place with the sheer north face of the highest mountain in the world towering above you.

Day 10 : Drive to Zhangmu (2300m) 181km, 4-5 hours.

Today, You will drive past Tingri crossing Lalung La Pass at 5124m and Shug La pass at 5200m. Savoring the enchanting views of the surrounding peaks of Shishapangma, Cho Oyu, Menlungtse and Gauri Shankar, you descend from the arid Tibeatan Plateau to verdant Zhangmu on the Nepalese border. After driving for 181 km, you find yourself amidst the lush and verdant vegtation of Zhang at 2300 meters.

Day 11 : Drive to Kathmandu (1,300m), 4-5 hours.

A few kilometers drive away from Zhangmu to Friendship Bridge across Bhote Koshi river brings you to the Immigration control in Kodari. Here, you will part with your Tibetan guide and driver, and walk across the bridge to meet your Nepales escort who will drive you to Kathmandu.

To  condition yourself for the trek, some physical fitness programs such as walking, running, swimming and hiking are recommended before you embark on your journey. Any person suffering from a pre-existing medical condition or diseases must seek medical advice before considering any trek.
Yes, our company representative will be there to greet you. He will be displaying Himalayan  Excursion Nepal sign board outside the airpot terminal. You will be transferred to your hotel by our private vehicle.
 
 
Best season for this trip is between March and October.
It depends upon season.During winter (November to February), It is colder at night time and relatively warmer during the day time, with the tempreature ranging from around 4 degree at night to 23 degree at day time. Between March and May, the weather stay perfect as the tempreature averages 25 degree during the day time. From Septembet to December,following te monsoon, the temperature gets cooler and allows for a great time to travel. The average temperature during this season is 22 degree.
During trip guesthouse does not facilitate with heater or air conditioner,But they have facility of hitting the dinning area by providing kerosene or metal heater. USD 2 to USD 5 per person would be applicable to use this service and this is payable directly to the guesthouse. 
Depending on nature of travel we provide different vehicle service.we provide tourist vehicles for sightseeing, city tours and airport pickups-drops. whereas we use the best 4WD jeep for the overland drive across the Tibet highland.For larger group,we also use supported trucks to carry luggage.
There are landline telephone in some village along the trekking routes from which you can contact with your family and friends. some place there is also internet access which you can use by paying some charges.Also you can buy sim card for your cell phone by giving your xerox copy of your passport and PP size photo.
Chinese Yuan and US dollar can be accepted in Tibet. There are no ATMs in the town you are visiting.Exchanging your money to chinese currency will be the best option for you,which you do at Kathmandu and border.
Generally, in kathmandu you can allocate USD 15-20 for lunch and dinner.During trip USD 10 to 15 per person a day will be enough to buy bottles of water,chocolates,biscuits,pay for the hot shower and a few drinks.
 
Yes, charging facilities will be available in every guesthouse & lodges but sometime there maybe load shedding problem so its better to bring power bank or spare batteries.
 
There are many restaurant available in Kathmandu city where you can find any delight of your choice. But in triproute most teahouses.On the menu you may find noodles soup,steam mo:mo,daal bhat, green salad, finger chips,potatoes, fresh vegetables. You can get tea,coffee,hot lemon,hot chocolate. Every day breakfast, lunch , dinner will be at a lodge.
 
Lodges mostly serve the vegetarian meals so there is no problem at all for vegetarian. Also we always recommend our clients to eat vegetarian meals to avoid food poisoning. Non-veg meals at the high altitude is not safe for the stomach.

Actually tipping is not compulsory, but small gesture of thanks to your guides and driver.The level of the tip should reflect the level of satisfaction from and personal involvment with your guide.
Cancellation notice is required, minimum of 25 days prior to trip departure. If the reason is valid the trip shall then be termed as cancelled and the cancellation charge of 30% of the trip amount would be deducted from the advance paid.
