Lhasa is the capital city of Tibet Autonomous region & has long been the center of politics, economy, culture & religion in Tibet. Lhasa means "Holy Land" in the Tibetan language. Lhasa is one of the highest cities in the world.Lhasa contains many religious sites such as the Jokhang, Potala & Norbulingka palaces. The name Potala is possibly derived from Mt. Potalaka, the mythological abode of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara.The Jokhang Temple was also greatly expanded around this time.Although some wooden carvings & lintels of the Jokhang & some of the monasteries & properties in the buildings, such as within the Potala Palace, the Jokhang & some of the monasteries & properties in the old quarter date to this second flowering in Lhasa's history.
This tour starts from Kathmandu with the sightseeing of UNESCO world heritage sites. This is very short & easy trip as well this is the quickest way to gain an experience of Tibetan culture, monasteries & religion.

Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuwan airport.

After arrival at Kathmandu airport Our company representative's will welcome you and then transfer to hotel. After time to get refreshed, evening we'll meet and transfer for welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant in the heart of Kathmandu and briefing about your trip.

Day 2 : Kathmandu valley sightseeing & trip preparation (1,300m).

Today, After morning breakfast you'll visit different historical and cultural sites of the Kathmandu valley with our professional guide. You will go for the pilgrimage sites of Hindus temple Pashupatinath, the world biggest Boudhanath stupa and visit Swoyambhunath stupa also known as monkey temple. After exploring the surrounding areas visit historical Kathmandu Durbar square with temple, unique architectures and kumari (living goddess).

Day 3 : Visa and Document preperation for trip.

Today, this is day for visa preperation and other legal documentation. Normally it will take two days for urgent visa and if top urgent visa we can take within one days but it will be little expensive.

Day 4 : Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa (3,660 meters).

You will be met at Gonggar airport by your Tibetan guide. After immigration formalities take a 1.5 hours drive along 93 km road leading to Lhasa lying at an altitude of 3660 meters. It's advisable to rest & take it easy for the remainder of the day due to Lhasa's altitude.

Day 5 : Guided city tours in Lhasa (3660 meters).

After your morning breakfast you will go for your sightseeing tour.Your experienced guide accompanies you to the famous monasteries of Tibet. On your awe-nispring visit to Sera Monastery, you are introduced to the important aspects of Buddhism. After lunch, you once again continue exploring Tibetan ancient cultures & civilization as you pay a visit to Norbulingka, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama. Jokhang temple provide yet another exciting & educative tour. Wandering around Barkhor markets is another major highlight of the day.

Day 6 : Drive to Namsto lake.

Today, you will drive to Namtso lake from Lhasa from Lhasa. Then after you will explore around namtso lake. Which is very beautiful & salt lake located at the high altitude. This journey don't explore only Namtso lake, It also explore the Tibetan culture, heritage, heritage, lifestyle of Tibetan people, and other many more.

Day 7 : Drive back to Lhasa.

Day 8 : Guided city tour around Potala Palace & Deprung Monastery (3,660 meters).

Today, After morning breakfast, you will set off to view majestic Potala Palace towering above city Lhasa.Ancient Tibetan cultures come alive with your every exploration. Later in the noon after lunch, you will visit beautifully landscaped Drepung Monastery. You can observe nuns & monks chanting & performing religious discourses. After this religious journey, you eventually return to your hotel.

Day 9 : Fly back to Nepal.

Today, After your breakfast you will drive 2 hours to Gonggar airport, then you will have 1 hour wonderful flight to Kathamndu.Evening time you can do shopping or you can buy gift for your friends, relatives & family.

Day 10 : Transfer to Airport for your final departure.

Lhasa and Namtso lake tour is suitable for any kind of person who is moderately fit, no previous experience is required. To  condition yourself for the trek, some physical fitness programs such as walking, running, swimming and hiking are recommended before you embark on your journey. Any person suffering from a pre-existing medical condition or diseases must seek medical advice before considering any trek.
Yes, our company representative will be there to greet you. He will be displaying Himalayan  Excursion Nepal sign board outside the airport terminal. You will be transferred to your hotel by our private vehicle.
Best season for this trip is between March and October.
It depends upon season.During winter (November to February), It is colder at night time and relatively warmer during the day time, with the tempreature ranging from around 4 degree at night to 23 degree at day time. Between March and May, the weather stay perfect as the tempreature averages 25 degree during the day time. From Septembet to December,following te monsoon, the temperature gets cooler and allows for a great time to travel. The average temperature during this season is 22 degree.
During trip guesthouse does not facilitate with heater or air conditioner,But they have facility of hitting the dinning area by providing kerosene or metal heater. USD 2 to USD 5 per person would be applicable to use this service and this is payable directly to the guesthouse. 
Depending on nature of travel we provide different vehicle service.we provide tourist vehicles for sightseeing, city tours and airport pickups-drops. whereas we use the best 4WD jeep for the overland drive across the Tibet highland.For larger group,we also use supported trucks to carry luggage.
There are landline telephone in some village along the trekking routes from which you can contact with your family and friends. some place there is also internet access which you can use by paying some charges.Also you can buy sim card for your cell phone by giving your xerox copy of your passport and PP size photo.
Chinese Yuan and US dollar can be accepted in Tibet. There are no ATMs in the town you are visiting.Exchanging your money to chinese currency will be the best option for you,which you do at Kathmandu and border.
Generally, in kathmandu you can allocate USD 15-20 for lunch and dinner.During trip USD 10 to 15 per person a day will be enough to buy bottles of water,chocolates,biscuits,pay for the hot shower and a few drinks.
Yes, charging facilities will be available in every guesthouse & lodges but sometime there maybe load shedding problem so its better to bring power bank or spare batteries.
There are many restaurant available in Kathmandu city where you can find any delight of your choice. But in triproute most teahouses.On the menu you may find noodles soup,steam mo:mo,daal bhat, green salad, finger chips,potatoes, fresh vegetables. You can get tea,coffee,hot lemon,hot chocolate. Every day breakfast, lunch , dinner will be at a lodge.
Lodges mostly serve the vegetarian meals so there is no problem at all for vegetarian. Also we always recommend our clients to eat vegetarian meals to avoid food poisoning. Non-veg meals at the high altitude is not safe for the stomach.

Actually tipping is not compulsory, but small gesture of thanks to your guides and driver.The level of the tip should reflect the level of satisfaction from and personal involvment with your guide.
Cancellation notice is required, minimum of 25 days prior to trip departure. If the reason is valid the trip shall then be termed as cancelled and the cancellation charge of 30% of the trip amount would be deducted from the advance paid.
