The historical seat of Tibetan power and the location of the tombs of previous Dalai Lamas, the Potala Palace has been reduced to serve as a symbolic feature for Tibetan aspirations. The Jokhang temple, 2 km to the east of the Palace, has become the spiritual hub of the country.Bustling with worshippers and redolent with mystery, the Jokhang is an unrivaled Tibetan experience. A visit to Drepung monastery is well worth the effort and for some can be a very enlightening experience.

Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu.

After arrival at Kathmandu airport, Our company representative's will welcome you and then transfer to hotel. After time to get refreshed, evening we'll meet and transfer for welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant in the heart of Kathmandu and briefing about your trip.

Day 2 : Kathmandu valley sightseeing & trip preparation (1300 m).

Today, After morning breakfast you'll visit different historical and cultural sites of the Kathmandu valley with our professional guide. You will go for the pilgrimage sites of Hindus temple Pashupatinath, the world biggest Boudhanath stupa and visit Swoyambhunath stupa also known as monkey temple. After exploring the surrounding areas visit hitorical Kathmandu Durbar square with temple, unique architectures and kumari (living goddess).

Day 3 : Visa and Document preperation for trip.

Today, this is day for visa preperation and other legal documentation. Normally it will take two days for urgent visa and if top urgent visa we can take within one days but it will be little expensive.

Day 4 : Fly to Lhasa (3600 meters).

After arrival on Gonggar airport by your Tibetan guide. Take a 1.5 hours drive along 93 kms road leading to Lhasa lying at an altitude of 3660 meters. It's advisable to rest and take it easy for the remainder of the day due to Lhasa altitude.

Day 5 : Guided city tour in Lhasa (3600 m).

Today, After morning breakfast, you straightway make arrangement tour. Your experienced guide accompanies you to the famous monateries of Tibet. On your awe-inspring visit to Sera Monastery. You once again continue exploring Tibetan ancient cultures and civilization as you pay a visit to Norbulingka, the summer palace of the Dalai Lam. Jokhang temple provides yet another exciting and eductive tour. Wandering around Barkhor markets is another major highlight of the day.

Day 6 : City tour around Potala Palace and Drepung Monastery (3660 meters).

Today, you will get more acquainted with the mystique of Lhasa. In the morning after breakfast, you will set off the view majestic Potala Palace towering above city of Lhasa. You get to witness a unique, pristine and overwhelming array of intricate Tibetan murals,temples,stupas, and tombs of eight past Dalai Lamas from a perfect vantage point. Ancient Tibetan cultures come alive with your every exploration. Later in the afternoon lunch, you will visit beautifully landscaped Drepung Monastery. You can observe nuns and monks chanting and performing religious discourses.

Day 7 : Fly back to Kathamandu, 1 hour.

Today, After morning breakfast you will drive 2 hours to Gonggar airport, then you will have 1 hour wonderful flight to Kathmadnu. Evening its time for shopping soviniours for your friends, relatives and families.

Day 8 : Transfer to Airport for final departure.

Today, our company representative will drop you to the Kathmandu airport for your final departure for your home country or onward destination.
Lhasa sightseeing tour is suitable for any kind of person who is moderately fit, no previous experience is required. To  condition yourself for the trek, some physical fitness programs such as walking, running, swimming and hiking are recommended before you embark on your journey. Any person suffering from a pre-existing medical condition or diseases must seek medical advice before considering any trek.
Yes, our company representative will be there to greet you. He will be displaying Himalayan  Excursion Nepal sign board outside the airport terminal. You will be transferred to your hotel by our private vehicle.
Best season for this trip is between March and October.
It depends upon season.During winter (November to February), It is colder at night time and relatively warmer during the day time, with the tempreature ranging from around 4 degree at night to 23 degree at day time. Between March and May, the weather stay perfect as the tempreature averages 25 degree during the day time. From Septembet to December,following te monsoon, the temperature gets cooler and allows for a great time to travel. The average temperature during this season is 22 degree.

Chinese Yuan and US dollar can be accepted in Tibet. There are no ATMs in the town you are visiting.Exchanging your money to chinese currency will be the best option for you,which you do at Kathmandu and border.
Generally, in kathmandu you can allocate USD 15-20 for lunch and dinner.During trip USD 10 to 15 per person a day will be enough to buy bottles of water,chocolates,biscuits,pay for the hot shower and a few drinks.
There are many restaurant available in Kathmandu city where you can find any delight of your choice. But in Tibet must of the restaurants serve authentic Tibetan food.
Lodges mostly serve the vegetarian meals so there is no problem at all for vegetarian. Also we always recommend our clients to eat vegetarian meals to avoid food poisoning. Non-veg meals at the high altitude is not safe for the stomach.

Cancellation notice is required, minimum of 25 days prior to trip departure. If the reason is valid the trip shall then be termed as cancelled and the cancellation charge of 30% of the trip amount would be deducted from the advance paid.
