Tent Peak is also Known as Tarphu Chuli which is situated in the heart of Annapurna Sanctuary at an elevation of 5850 meters. Tent Peak is an attractive mountain and part of the ridge line south from Glacier Dome, that includes Singu Chuli and acts as a central divider between the semi-circle of peaks enclosing the Annapurna Sanctuary. The perfect opportunity for those who want to summit a Himalayan peak on a smaller scale than all the other peaks. There is some steep and ridge climb section makes this climb a very interesting.Comparatively, this Tharpu chuli Peak climbing is physically not as challenging as Island or Mera.

We start our Tent peak climbing with the drive to Nayapul, which is the trip starting point in Annapurna region. Our trekking route pass through terraced farmland and menders around the rhododendron forest and Modi Khola crossing the amid ethic settlement. We climb up both Machapuchare and Annapurna base camp before we set up our tented camp for the Tharpu chuli expedition climb. The views from the Tent peak summit are arguably one of the best Himalayan scenery. The wild and stunning Annapurna sanctuary offers the spectacular panorama of many 7000 and 8000-meter Himalayan genetic peaks including the Annapurna, Hiunchuli, Baraha Shikhar, Khangshar Kang, Tarke Kang Annapurna etc.
